Kindergarten
Our kindergarten is an excellent beginning to a child's formal educational experience. We have supurb reading and math curriculum integrated into a developmental program which makes this a top choice for families seeking an above average start for their child.
Red Hill Christian School offers two kindergarten classes. If your child has had a successful preschool experience and is five years old by September 15th, they are eligible to apply. Both classes are led by degreed or certified teachers and all kindergarten programs are 5 days a week. A kindergarten readiness test will be required of all applicants. An application and registration fee are also required (see application for details).
1. Kindergarten class at Deep Creek Elementary Campus (Perkiomenville)
- Bussing is provided for all Kindergarten options at this campus from surrounding school districts
- Children may attend half day (8:30-12:00) or full day (8:30am - 3:00pm)
- Before and after care is provided:
Residents of Upper Perkiomen School District - care provided at RHCS main campus Residents of Boyertown Area School District - care provided at Cedar Grove campus
*Registration is $80 before March 15th, $100 after March 15th
2. Public School Kindergarten students - child care is provided for these students.
- New Hanover Upper Frederick Elementary: Students who attend kindergarten at NHUF can receive child care at our Cedar Grove Campus in Perkiomenville. Boyertown Area School District determines your child's elementary school placement.
- Upper Perkiomen students receive bus transportation to / from our Red Hill campus for both Marlborough Elementary School and Hereford Elementary School kindergarten classes.
- Hereford & Marlborough Elementary Schools: AM or PM kindergarten placement is determined by the Upper Perkiomen School District. Red Hill Christian School will provide child care for kindergarten students enrolled in either session. Please notify us immediately upon learning your child's placement (AM or PM session).
- AM Public Kindergarten: Children who attend the AM session of Kindergarten are met at the RHCS bus stop at 12:15pm by a staff member. They are then brought inside to eat lunch followed by a Kindergarten enrichment program.
- PM Public Kindergarten: Children who attend the PM session will eat lunch at RHCS around 11:30am prior to boarding the bus for the public school. These children receive kindergarten enrichment in the morning.
*Registration is $50 for new students, no registration for continuing students
